Simplicity is a Muse

Hi, my loves! How are you all doing? Delhi has been good of late as there’s a nip in the air and the temperature has dropped, giving us pleasant days and cooler nights. Since the wedding season ensues, I thought there could be no better time to showcase some solid style inspiration for those whose BFF’s are getting married. Today’s post is about the incredible blend of elegance and simplicity. I am wearing this unique floor length indigo anarkali which I think strikes immutable quality and style.

Elegance inspire me a lot. I am a sucker for pieces that have a unique touch of sophistication. Equally, simplicity has always been the hallmark of elegance. This anarkali speaks volume and is extremely flowy. The lightly embroidered golden border at the low edge of the cold shoulder sleeves adds to the character of this outfit. A quintessential minimalistic look, with embroidery on selected patches, packs the right kind of heaviness to a party dress for those not nig on excessive bling. I have paired it with matching blue and golden chaandbalis and the result was beautiful. The outfit is a mix of contemporary and traditional fusing modern and classical genres – perfect for your BFF’s Sangeet or Mehendi ceremony. I hope you like the post and enjoyed the pictures! I’ll be back soon with yet another post! Till then, love.

What I Wore:

Anarkali: Max

Jewellery: Lajpat Nagar

*Please forgive my puffy eyes due to lack of proper rest!
