Hi my angels, hope you all are doing great! How’s the festive season treating you? Shop, eat sweets, glam up and click lots of pictures! Today, am back with Chapter 2 of my Festive Outfit Ideas series. If you haven’t seen my previous post on the series head over to the blog. I picked up today’s outfit for the second day of Durga Puja Maha Saptami. Read on..
Okay honestly, tell me one thing, isn’t it a task to actually shop for festive seasons? I mean you have to think a lot before shopping, I’m sure none of us like repeating same clothes as well as same style. Hence, in a way I’m glad that several of these online shopping destinations have come up with their ethnic line, at affordable prices, which actually means that you can wear a different statement look for every occasion!
So this year, mix and match is right upfront as a trend. And within this category, the hassle free combination of wearing the long kurta with a floor length skirt is a must try. As I said before, I really didn’t have the time to find coordinate pairs of kurta and a skirt. But luckily, I came across this MAX embroidered layered kurta. It has been very intelligently designed to look like a kurta paired on top of a skirt. The embroidery motifs are on white and golden. I love how rich it is and how amazing it feels! Love the flare of the skirt, and how beautifully it contours my silhouette.
I loved wearing this beautiful piece which is less than Rs. 2000. The elaborate detailing, and exquisite colour blue provides an incomparable festive feel to this outfit. Also, I’m in awe with the perfect fit. I have worn a golden churidar along with it, but you may actually skip it entirely. Just a pair of stone and gold earrings would really work with this. I added my white heels to go with the look.
I created a glowy contoured look with heavy mascara and dusty pink lips for my makeup! Love how the whole look has turned up, it’s super festive and gets me excited for Pujo!
Hope you Enjoy the pictures!
I’ll be back soon with the third chapter of the series.
