Hi my dear loves and fashion bugs, how are y’all doing? I’m just back from an amazing vacation in Ladakh and still need a few more days to get out of my holiday hangover. Also, a post on the trip is coming up very soon..so stay tuned for some amazing pictures right from the Moonland!
Coming back to today’s post, this coming month I’m incredibly excited about two things, first, that my blog is going to complete its first year. It was this time last year that I had posted my first blog..and although I have a long way to go, continuing to write about things I love, has been challenging and equally rewarding. A big thank you to each and everyone of you who follow my blog and encourage me to write more. You guys mean a lot! Second, the festive season has started and I’m sure all of us are so excited about Durga Puja and several others festivals that are to follow. Though, I won’t be home this Pujo, nevertheless I shall not miss an inch being a part of it.
Therefore, today’s post is about giving you an idea about what your festive shopping might include. Wearing kurtas in festivities is very common in our country. It always gives a comfortable, elegant and classy look. But who says you can’t try and experiment with your dressing by wearing a kurta as a dress! For the look, I chose a long length Madurai Cotton kurta from Max Fashions that is so soothing, easy to wear and flowy! And oh the absolutely gorgeous colour. Green! As you’ll be able to see, the dress looks tailor fit and is such a comfort from usually tight outfits. The fabric is cotton and breathable and can be worn for day outs during festivals ( perfect for pandal hopping!). Although the fabric wrinkles easily, it’s a delight to wear it all day long. I wore a pair of oxidized jhumkis to give my look an ethereal and festive feel. I went for a golden chappals with golden sequins to add to my look. I kept the look really easy and effortless and didn’t delve into extreme make up.
What I Wore:
Kurta/Dress: Max Fashion
Chappals: Street Style Store
