Black & White: Not so Basic

Hey you lovely people! How’s it going for y’all? Since the time my first post went live, I started brainstorming on what should my next outfit post be all about? While it’s almost the end of September, there is no sign of fall in Delhi. It is just as sunny and hot as usual, and I have been trying to keep it simple and basic just like the summers. So, here I am putting up a very easy yet chic outfit which requires little time with no extra effort.

I firmly believe in putting together outfits that make me feel great about myself. So, even with a so-called ‘basic’ outfit you can add a personal twist which will help you stand out in the crowd. So, this time I went ahead with a casual look with a white button-up shirt and black pants. I can vouch for this classic white shirt and black pants outfit that it will never let you down and can be easily found in your closet. What makes me like this pair the most is the versatility as it can be worn to work and on a casual outing as well. To this basic outfit, I have tried to create a twist by pairing it up with a black longline jacket. This is one of my closet favourites because this little thing can really transform most of my outfits throughout the year. There are several ways that you can style this piece which could break the dullness on both a formal as well as a weekend outfit.

What I wore:

Shirt: Forever 21

Longline Jacket: Forever 21

Pants: Zara

Bag: Michael Kors

Shoes: Catwalk
